Meet Hyrum
Hyrum’s passion for real estate started at a young age, building Lego houses and neighborhoods, dreaming of becoming an architect—until he realized school wasn’t quite for him! Instead, he found his calling in real estate, bringing the same creativity and enthusiasm to every project. Growing up between Tahoe and Missoula, Montana, Hyrum developed a deep love for the outdoors—whether it’s skiing fresh corduroy on the slopes or camping under the stars. His journey into real estate started with a strong foundation in construction, thanks to his family’s business and a formative role with a custom home builder. There, he learned every detail of the home-building process, from site work and permitting to final delivery.

By 2006, Hyrum was licensed and made the shift to residential sales in 2008. His approach to real estate is simple: every client becomes a friend for life. Alongside his loyal assistant, Theodore—a double doodle who goes everywhere with him—Hyrum has built a reputation for being more than just a realtor, but a trusted advisor and friend.

Outside of real estate, Hyrum is a self-proclaimed foodie and a sucker for Napa Valley Cabernet, a Foothill Barbera or Delicous California Chardonnay. When he travels, he explores the world through his stomach, sampling everything from local street food to Michelin-starred experiences. His heart belongs to Sacramento though for its diversity, small-town feel in a big city, and proximity to world-class destinations like Napa, Tahoe, the stunning California coast, and San Francisco.

Hyrum’s leadership in the real estate community is well-established—he served as the president of the Sacramento Association of Realtors Masters Club in 2020 and is an outstanding life member, representing the top 10% of realtors in the region.

Hyrum is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and has spent years working to better the lives of women and girls. He was an active member of the Sacramento chapter of Soroptimist International, one of only a handful of men in the world to be part of this global organization. His dedication to these causes reflects his deep commitment to advocacy and equality.
