Why We Love It
Welcome to beautiful Land Park. This neighborhood is defined by a massive park, classic architecture, and wide, tree-lined boulevards. We love its charming brick cottages, park-side stunners, and unique Art Deco homes. We also dig Land Park’s attractions! It’s easy to pass an afternoon here eating, sipping, or playing at favorite local haunts.
Where to Eat & Drink
Land Park has a pleasant variety of restaurants and bars in unique spaces. The neighborhood’s landmark restaurant is Tower Café. It features colorful décor and eclectic breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. Sample meals from around the world at Heat Shabu, Kathmandu Kitchen, Queen Sheba, or Andy Nguyen’s Vegetarian Restaurant. Want some weird, kitschy vibes? Try Pancake Circus’s clown-themed diner or Riverside Clubhouse, a restaurant topped with a giant cow!
Ways to Relax & Play
Land Park’s recreation opportunities span many interests. The lush, generously-sized William Land Park features a zoo, golf course, botanical garden, and several children’s playgrounds/ fairytale areas. Tower Theater, Avid Reader, MusicLandria, and STAB! Comedy Theater offer opportunities for a good culture fix. Lastly, nearby Helvetia and Joe Marty’s are casual, comfortable spots to grab a drink.
How to Build Community
There are several avenues for connecting with the community in Land Park. Girl Scout Troop 569 and the Land Park Pacific Little League are great ways to meet families with kids. The Land Park Volunteer Corps and My Sister’s House women’s resource center appreciate local volunteers.
